We love pet sitting for family and friends! When we dog sit we go on at least 1 long daily walk downtown where we live in Essex. This also almost always provides for socialization time as many people walk their pets downtown. We usually spend the night longuing on the deck or on the couch and are almost always home. We do live on the cove with a huge back yard. Our neighbors dog is constantly playing in the cove if your dog likes to swim (my parents dog who we sit for often does not and that’s ok too). We also like to go hiking and trail walking if it’s a bigger dog who enjoys the exercise and running around! I am pretty flexible depending on breed and dog needs, I’ve had big energetic Golden’s and lazy peekiniese in the past.

Jena was great, we use Rover when we travel, so were coming into town, doing some activities and needed a play date for Quincy. Jena was flexible, communicated promptly and was a loving, happily exhausting stay for our guy. Jena was flexible with our timing variables and even suggested a great coffee shop for us to hang at. We are so grateful to find these wonderful homes/people/play dates on our travels!! thank you Jena.
First of all the response was very prompt. Then when she watched our dog she was great. Toast can be shy but he felt very comfortable with Jena. I highly recommend her for any of your pet needs. Thank you Jena!!
Jena was the perfect caregiver for our 3 month old puppy. She was able to give him all the love and attention that a puppy requires!! We would definitely recommend Jena to care for your pet as she is a true animal lover!!
Could not ask for a better person to watch our dog while we were away (for about 10 days!). Jena took excellent care of our dog, provided pictures, took our dog for walks, etc. Our dog is a rescue w/ some anxiety issues, so it was a relief knowing that the dog was with someone who would be spending time with her. Excellent location as well for a dog! Dog was able to go swimming, and had a nice yard to run around in. Many thanks Jena! Jena is hands down the ideal person for the job and will be our 'go to' for the future :)
