I grew up with a pup that my family got when I was a kid. She was by my side until college. In the Marines I was an MP and worked closely with K9s and saw the level of care and the bonds between the handlers and their dogs. After that I knew I needed another dog in my life. I now have a beautiful boxer/pit mix that lives with 4 cats and is wonderfully behaved. Since she is a pit mix, she went through extensive training so she might hopefully be able to help fight the stigma of her breed being dangerous. All of that training is helpful for me as well and I will bring that to the table as a sitter/walker. I also have fostered numerous dogs in my house since purchasing a few years ago. Some of the dogs that have come through before they were adopted had special needs and have since gotten experience from that. I also am willing to sit for cats and take care of their feeding, special needs, and litter boxes.
