Life long animal lover & caretaker!
Pet care experience
I've had a passion for animals since I was a child and actually started my first dog walking business at 12. I have walked and cared for animals for the last 20 years. I have trained all my own animals and I currently have two babies. My oldest is my Chihuahua Blu who I’ve had since he was 8 weeks and my youngest is my Bernadoodle Ellie who I rescued at 1 year. Puppies and potty training are no problem so no worries there! I love and have cared for dogs of all sizes and ages, but I do have a special understanding of the needs of small dogs and the extra care they require, which is specific and not everyone understands.
Reviews
Our second time now with Jen and both times she was late to our house. Gave a free pass last time but for two occurrences I was disappointed our dog had to wait another 40 minutes for her to arrive. We have doggie cams and also noticed that the walk was really only 25 minutes and she ended the walk after she had left the house. Unfortunately will not rebook. Jen was communicative and was sweet with Luna so gave 3/5 stars.
Thank you for being so prompt with Rubin’s walk’s yesterday. We appreciate your availability on such short notice! I’m sure Rubin loved the little tug and pull play time afterwords. We’ll be reaching out again!
Jen really jumped in to help my boyfriend and I out. She did a great job checking in on our 2 kitties and communicating with us during the whole visit. This is the second time we have asked her to watch our cats and it brought us so much peace of mind. We love working with Jen!
Jen was great! Perfect amount of communication and took great care of our dogs.

I have a fenced in dog walking park at my apartment complex should I choose to allow dogs to stay with me, but I generally don’t board unless it’s a special circumstance. I also live in Northfield which is a very dog friendly single family home neighborhood with many parks and walking trails.
Information Jen T. would like to know about your pet
It's important that I know how many times a day a dog needs to go out, what their feeding schedule is, and how much to feed them. I also need to know any triggers or potential issues to watch out for like dog aggression or separation anxiety because it prepares me for their care. Also knowing about specific medications and how they are administered is very important.
A typical day
I love taking my dogs around their own neighborhood for long walks. I really love it when the area has walking trails and big open spaces. I have no problem visiting dog parks as well given the dog is okay in social situations and is approved by the owner.

Availability
I have my own personal pet care business outside of Rover, which is my full time job, so my schedule is completely dictated by what clients I have each day between both businesses. My schedule can change daily depending on how many appointments I have that day. Also, I care for multiple housesitting clients at a time between both businesses which is why I do housesitting drop-in style only, and I do not sleep over.
