Hello there! My name is Jen and while I've been known as the crazy cat lady for the past 15 years...and recently, thanks to a job at a pet resort, I now consider myself a crazy dog lady as well. I seen a commercial for Rover and I thought, well I LOVE dogs, (esp a big old beast that thinks hes a little lap dog), I love to help people and I could really benefit from the good that could come from this. So why not sign up? It sounds like a win win for me! Animals have always been a part of my life. From searching under rocks for snakes and salamanders as a child to rescuing kittens stuck 20' up in a tree in my 20's, it's all for me. Every animal I've encountered has something to offer. Too often though, we don't take the time to see this. Today, I contribute my sanity to animals. Somewhere along the line I began to rescue and rehome. Some of those fosters never left though... Now I have a beautiful furry family of 7, a box turtle and an anery cornsnake! While they all keep me busy, I can't help but to think that I could really benefit from a partnership with a dog that needs to be taken outside, played with and walked. Pups have so much to offer and I genuinely miss working with them on a day to day basis (curse you low paying jobs!) but our land owner does not allow us to have dogs in addition to our cats, so this is where you come in!
