Jen was the best sitter we’ve ever had for our fur baby. She made him feel so at home and instantly part of her ohana. She sent pics throughout the stay and our Zeus was so happy and comfortable! We will definitely be booking again! Jen was so genuinely loving and caring for our doggie! ? ?

After so many amazing times of my dogs staying w/people on rover w/out complaint, I have never been so enraged. In the midst of a frustrating military move, I needed the dogs to stay w/Jen for 7 days. Based on her profile w/30 years experience & 1 dog in the house, I was excited to have my pups watched by someone so experienced. 26 minutes (literally) into watching them, I get a call that they are barking & that I need to come get them. I offered to bring a bark box pro, calming treats & more. Nope! Come get them now. So I went to get them & took them elsewhere/ last min & @ triple the price. Not to mention losing out on plans & Non refundable tickets. Jen had more than 1 small dog in the home & they wouldn’t stop barking while we were there. She said there were toddlers that needed to sleep which doesn’t make sense w/the current bark situation that was already there. Not to mention, Someone w/30 years in the business & you don’t realize that most dogs bark in new places/ there’s an adjustment period? Especially when I found out that she left & went outside to see if they’d bark as a test. MOST dogs bark when you arrive & leave because they hear you. Now if she had kept them all day & night & called me next day then I might understand but 26 min? Also why were they caged immediately after I left? “Oh they don’t bark when I’m inside w/them”…. Why did she comment on how quiet & calm & well behaved my dogs were…until I left? Even w/the other barkers, they were quiet & chill. Yes she apologized but that doesn’t give me back the money I lost or time. While I was there, my dogs made not one peep. Upon my arrival they made not one peep. Idk what the real reason is here or what happened but I’m beyond frustrated w/how Jen chose to handle this situation. Her experience w/dogs doesn’t show. Honestly I don’t think Jen should be watching anyones dogs if she can’t even handle barking. Rover support took care of us but I’m still out the money I lost from my plans.
