Pet care experience
Well hi there! We are an apartment of four girls who are more like sisters than roommates. We are all animal lovers with two pets of our own: Smokey our (very large) cat and Finli our playful Australian Shepherd. We have a beautiful, large apartment and a nice fenced-in yard. We have one neighbor with a dog as well, who they will often see in the back yard. Jen (the maker of this profile and main contact) works from home full-time. The other three girls work from home part-time. Your sweet pup will never be alone! One of the roommates is also a part-time dog walker and has multiple years of experience working in doggy daycares. We are located in Logan Square, only a mile from the dog park! Finli loves playmates and gets along with any animal. He is obsessed with fetch and loves to race other dogs to the ball. Smokey is reserved with dogs, but not afraid. We hope to get a chance to get to know you and your pet!

Jen is a genuine animal lover who has an awesome schedule working from home and a huge apartment with a fenced yard she shares with 3 other roomies, a friendly pup and a friendly cat who mainly keeps to himself. Someone is always home to watch, feed, play with, walk, or cuddle your pup! They live in a very dog friendly location, which makes dog walks fun:) Jen and her roomies have watched my dog, Oklee, many times and he always comes home exhausted and happy! She sends updates and pictures to let me know my guy is alright. If you want your dog safe, spoiled, stress free and we’ll taken care of- I would definitely recommend Jen!♥️
On several occasions I have had to have someone watch and care for my fur baby. She does a great job of caring for him. I would highly recommed her to anyone requiring a competent sitter.

We have no breed preferences, but they must be dog-friendly and cat-friendly (just that they won’t chase Smokey down for dinner). We request they be crate-trained in the off-chance they have to be left alone for no more than 1-2 hours. We have two 42-inch crates, so no need to bring one. Lastly, we would like know about any behavioral or special needs your pup may have so we can make their stay as comfortable and fun as possible.
A typical day
Our favorite place to visit on walks is our local dog park. We typically bring our ball thrower so we can chuck tennis balls for Finli. There's also a great local bookstore in Logan Square that is dog-friendly, and it's a great place to socialize the pups. During the day while I work from home, the dogs will receive frequent potty breaks in the back yard and pick-up games of fetch every chance I get (or belly rubs and cuddles if that's what they prefer).
