Pet care experience
I've been a life long pet owner/educator and have an extremely high standard of care for all creatures. I have been a go-to dog sitter for many friend for some time, and have the experience and capacity (less so the willingness) to watch up to 5 dogs at once. I would far prefer to watch 1-2 dogs so that everyone gets the care and attention that they deserve.
Reviews
My dog becomes excited when we pull up to Jen’s house!
Jen is a great pet caregiver! She often boards dogs for friends and family and is great about keeping pups to a routine, providing plenty of exercise and activity, and caring for special needs.

I have a 8ft tall moose fence which so far has thwarted a few huskies and an aussie. I have a wire crate for dogs that might chew or destroy the house in my absence. Ideally everyone would be able to enjoy the myriad of couches, chairs, and dog beds that are available for animal use. I work from home and I typically do not leave my dog for more than 4 hours at a time, with occasional exceptions. My dog is an extremely friendly 1.5yr malamute/lab mix. He submits to dogs with aggression and reactivity, but I would prefer not to expose either of us to a reactive dog due to past attacks. I also have a flock of chickens with an electric fence which does not work in the winter time. If you have any reason to believe your dog would attempt to access the chickens (they would have to push through two doors and chew through chicken wire), this is not the home for you.

Availability
I work from home and am able to let my animal in/out into the yard as needed. We take a 15-30 minute walk several times a day with at least one longer walk, ski, or bike ride. If your animal has good recall and off/on leash behavior, I will be able to provide more exercise opportunities than I could for dogs with reactivity/aggression or significant pulling problems.
