As a lifelong pet owner with over eight years of professional pet care and rescue experience, I can care for all of your pets' needs while you are away. Whether it's a midday bathroom break or a week of summer vacation, I will make sure they are as comfortable and happy as possible in your home. I have worked with all types of animals including small mammals, reptiles, birds and even livestock. Behavior is very important to me so I always practice a calm, assertive demeanor, loose leash walking and basic skill training. I have also worked with many nervous and aggressive dogs and cats. With Covid slowing pet sitting needs, I spent 2021 providing animal care and adoption counseling at a local animal shelter. It was a great experience helping so many types of animals. I truly love all animals and have considered myself a cat lady since the wise age of two years old. I’ve enjoyed socializing feral kittens and TNR (trap-neuter-return).
