Pet care experience
Since the day I was born, I have been an avid animal lover. I grew up with a Beagle, Emily, who, for the first few years of my life, I was convinced was my sister! Growing up with a dog taught me how to care for dogs in all stages of life. Recently, as my friends have acquired puppies, I have had even more experience walking, potty training, house training, and loving dogs of all ages and sizes. I became "dog-god mother Jen," and title affectionately given by my friends and their adorable pups! I love going for walks, (or runs!), playing in the park, going for drives, or snuggling with dogs; I can give baths or medicine if necessary, and I'm happy to be available when you need me!

I do not have any breed preferences. I would like to know the dogs friendliness and level of care. If I need to administer medication, I would prefer to know that in advance. I would also like to know how good the dog is with new people or with other dogs- if we were to be walking and saw another dog or a child would approach, I would like to know in advance how to best handle the situation.
A typical day
I love being outdoors, especially over the summer, so I would love to take pups to local parks or hiking trails on beautiful sunny days. One of my favorite places to go is the Wyomissing trails by the Reading Museum; there's a stream, a bunch of grass, and lots of shade on hot days! We can play fetch and run around the park together, or on rainy days, I am happy to provide belly rubs and snuggles. If the owner allows it, I do know that some ice cream places offer "pup cups," so we can treat ourselves to a refreshing snack after a long day!
