I love dogs of all breeds! I have worked in the pet boarding field with all types. At my home, your dog will receive plenty of attention as I only work outside my home infrequently. There is half an acre white vinyl fenced backyard play area so there are no issues trying to get them some play time. :) Lots of trees on the property for shade for a nap too. While you are vacationing I will be sending you pictures of how your dog is doing and what they are doing. (I found this helpful for my soul when I was using this site for dog-watcher). I want you to be comfortable and able to see all is going very well. I have a 4 yo pit bull. He’s fixed and loving. He’s only been with me and has never suffered abuse or anything negative that would cause a bad attitude or aggression :) He likes to bark when someone knocks on the door and as soon as you come in you’ll never hear him bark again. Plus, he loves all dogs and generally greets small ones by crawling on his belly to them. If you feel you have any hesitation, please schedule a Meet-N-Greet with us. I promise you will fall in love with Bear. As far as what is expected - I have many people ask - when you bring your dog to me please make sure they have a collar. I can take it off at night if you like. If they will eat while with me, please, bring the food they usually eat so we don't upset their stomach. If they are staying over, if they have a favorite blanket or bed at home, please send it so they have a familiar and comforting smell while you are away. Cuddling with me is great but sometimes they are more comforted with their usual smells too :) **If you have a destructive dog, please bring a crate. If your dog is not house trained, please disclose this in your reservation request. (It's not something that excludes him/her but is something I will need to know.) I want to make your dogs visit as comfortable as possible for him/her. I provide water, plenty of companionship and attention while they are with me. We go outside every 2-3 hours, sometimes more often. I honor all dog-parents wishes. Please pick up your dog by Noon unless you have contacted me about other arrangements.
