Pet care experience
I’ve grown up with numerous dogs and breeds my whole life and got one of my own, Benny, 3 years ago. There was rarely a time in my life that I was not taking care of or playing with a dog; whether it be my family dog or other. It’s a dream of mine to work more with dogs and this is my way to make it come true as I have summers free being a high school biology teacher!

I take care of all pets as if they were my own, and my own are spoiled! I love these four legged friends and would only take care of others dogs the way I would want someone to take care of Benny.

It would be good to know if your dog is friendly or if there are certain behaviors I should be aware of. Also, if you would like your dog to walk or play with mine for extra attention I would need to know if they are friendly to other dogs and if that is something you would wish to have.
A typical day
Having a high energy dog myself I love to exercise dogs in various ways. Playing fetch, walking, training to work their mind are all some of the ways I enjoy spending time with dogs. As well as giving them a lot of belly rubs!

Availability
During the summer months I would be able to assist letting dogs out for bathroom breaks, playtime and/or walks. I would be able to work most afternoons.
