Love and Care for Small to Med Dogs
Pet care experience
My entire life I have had a furry critter in my home. Last year we lost our 15-year old "dorkie" (yorkie/dachshund) and miss having furry friends around! While in this transition, I have a safe, reliable, calm home where I can care for your pet. I treat pets like family and am attentive to their needs to make them comfortable.
Reviews
Jen and family had our dog for two weeks and did a wonderful job with her. They truly treat her as part of their family. Also, we got very cute photos and videos along the way!
Jen was excellent. She was prepared for our visit and sent us lots of updates throughout the day. She took such excellent care of our puppy. We will definitely use her again. She is lovely.
Sampson was so well taken care of!
Really attentive to my dog and great communication.

Safety, trust & environment
I generally follow schedules as close to the pet’s home environment and follow cues to address a dog's needs. That includes potty breaks every 2-4 hours during the day, mealtimes according to their needs, walks as they are accustomed, and lots of snuggles and playtime to meet their energy levels. I will send you at least one photo a day (and likely more!) so you can be away from you pet, knowing they are in good hands. I have no other pets and only host one pet at a time so I can focus my full attention on their care. There are times when I am able to watch two dogs with the consent of owners, and I have already watched at least one of them.

Information Jen L. would like to know about your pet
Since I work from home, a dog with significant barking tendencies might not be a great fit. While I work from home and would let the dog out regularly, being housetrained is required to keep the home nice for other pets and people. For overnight stays, I require a meet and greet in advance at my home to make sure the dog is comfortable and we have a good fit for their stay. For doggy daycare, a meet and greet is optional.
A typical day
A typical day would include potty breaks every 2-4 hours with some play time, longer walks in the morning and evening, lots of snuggles, belly rubs, and food as the owner requests. We specialize in smaller dogs and have dog stairs for the couch, toys for their size, and some fun food toys for kibble if they need to keep their minds active!

I work from home, providing consistent care for your beloved pet. I would never want your pet to feel anything but secure and comfortable in my home. At times my husband and older son would be in the home, and while they love dogs as much as I do, I would be the one responsible for your pet’s needs.
