Pet care experience
Hello, I’m Jen! I’m a furniture designer turned software engineer who loves being around animals. I currently work from home during the week so you can be assured that your buddy won’t be lonely during their stay with me. I would love to take ur pup for walks around the neighborhood between my breaks! I had a sweet senior dog named Gongju back home that I took care of for 14 years of her life! She’s now up in doggy heaven. I grew up around many dogs and cats (if you couldn’t tell already, I really love animals — also have had geckos and a chinchilla as pets). Prior to moving to Portland, I was living with my sister & her two wonderful cats — Beanie & Peaches. I also have experience with a deaf corgi. I would be able to care for dogs with special needs as well. I am more than happy to accommodate pets that need a lil extra care. I have two kitties at home: Mu & Hana. They’re the sweetest boys! They’re very friendly towards dogs and just want to be around them. Hopefully your pup loves cats too. Looking forward to meeting your sweet pup 😊

Jen was a great sitter for Bailey! She sent pictures and videos of her throughout Bailey’s stay. She also took her on walks! Would definitely recommend Jen as she was very responsive to messages and loved my pupper while I was gone!
Jen took excellent care of Lua and my home!
I needed a sitter last minute and thankfully Jen was able to help us out. She was very easy to communicate with, quick to respond and I felt very good about leaving our 11 week old puppy in her hands. She sent me lots of pictures and I felt extremely confident that our puppy was getting all the love and attention he deserved. I would definitely hire Jen again!
Jen was a wonderful dog sitter. her and Frederick (my Australian shepherd) hit it off. sometimes we walk by her house and he wants to go in. so cute! anyway, I was very pleased. Jen will be watching Freddie in the future. very responsible... 5/5 stars

I would love to know about their diet, feeding schedule, any behavioral issues to watch out for, or any other lil quirks! I had one guy who used to love to poop against trees. I learned the hard way and had to always clean their butt after.
A typical day
I generally wake up around 6 am, I would take them out on a morning walk. Give them breakfast. Get some play time in. Since I work from home, I’d take them out every few hours or whenever I just need a lil bit of a break. After work, we can either go on a long walk around my neighborhood or go visit a park!

I work from home during the week! My schedule is pretty flexible to be able to provide frequent potty breaks & walks! On the weekends, I would love to take your pup on hikes or go hang out at parks.
