I bring to the table over 10 years of experience working with both dogs and cats. While living in Japan, I was the manager of a shelter for a year in the disaster area, and back in the US I worked as a kennel attendant for over a year, often caring for over 50 dogs at one time of all sizes and temperaments. Most recently I worked for the SPCA for 2.5 years, but left to take care of my niece and nephew. From my time working with animals professionally, I became first aid certified and trained in how to form play groups and prevent altercations. In my home, we have 2 very dog friendly cats (who can be separated if needed). We also have a huge house, on 6 acres of land.
