Pet care experience
I have grown up with dogs my whole life, training, and raising them. We have had dogs of all sizes, german shepherds, Yorkshire terriers, and Shih Tzus. Our german shepherd had a litter of 6 puppies I cared for. I come from a family that is a lover of all animals & we have cared for our pets in all stages of life. Most recently, I cared for our elderly (18-year-old) dog, so I have a lot of senior care experience. I have always watched all my friend's dogs when they leave town. I understand that every dog is different, and needs special attention based on their needs (just like people!).

Jen has been watching my dog since she was a puppy. If there is one person in this world I trust to watch and care for my baby it is Jen. She’s great at making sure she gets the exercise, love and mental stimulation she needs throughout the day. She’s one of the more knowledgeable dog lovers I have met and has taught me so much. 10/10 recommend everyone have a Jen in their dogs corner.
Jen is the person I would trust most in the world with my precious fur baby. I lived with Jen in college where she took care of her elderly yorkie, Eevee. Eevee was always the center of her world and and I watched her care for her until she crossed the rainbow bridge at 18 years old. Since then, Jen has watched numerous dogs for our friends when they are out of town. She is attentive by recognizing patterns in a dogs behavior to ensure they are as happy and healthy as possible. She cares for dogs by spoiling them with soft beds, couch cuddles, and plenty of play. She has shown responsibility by taking care of her own dogs and many others. She has grown up around dogs her whole life and I know your pup will have the time of their life with her.

I live in a studio apartment and will make sure your pet has everything they need. I have hardwood floors, so there is no concern for accidents ruining any flooring. I will make sure they are so comfortable and if they need/want to sleep with me they are always welcome!

A typical day
I love to work with dogs, stimulating their brains and working with positive reinforcement. I also believe dogs need so much exercise to stay happy, healthy, and well-behaved! I love going on long walks, and can even do shorter runs (1-2 miles) with a dog if they are able. I live near Prospect/Forte Green park, which are both great areas to let dogs enjoy the day.

Availability
I work full-time, 35 hours a week, during daytime hours. If pet sitting during the week, I will give your pet a long walk before work every morning (I leave at about 8 AM) & return from work around 5 PM. For dog walking, I can walk before or after work and on weekends.
