Pet care experience
I adore spending time around animals! I've had a lifetime as a dog owner back in Scotland before moving to the Netherlands, from 9-week old puppy age, right through to a 17-year-old lady who needed extra attentive care and treatment. I also have a lot of experience caring for indoor and outdoor cats, whether bringing them to my place to stay, or me housesitting at their home. Over the past few of years, I enjoyed dedicating my time to caring for the homes and pets of friends and colleagues in Amsterdam whenever possible, and in 2023, I was able to spend 5+ months abroad, petsitting in various locations including Spain, Portugal, and the UK. Durations have varied from a short weekend to 2-month stays, and include a number of repeat petsits. I absolutely love reunions 😊

Finding someone like Jen is what these services are all about! I arrived home from 2 weeks away, to a Westie who’d obviously had a fabulous time and a clean and tidy house. I would have Jen back in a heartbeat! Thank you so much for taking such good care of Lolly and my home. I hope our paths cross again! 🐾

Just let me know if your pet has any little quirks that impact their care experience (for dogs in particular, are they reactive to other dogs, do they love to jump up to say hello to people). Also good to understand their exercise level and any training they're working on so I can help to reinforce positive behaviours.
A typical day
I'll make sure to tailor the walk to each dog's needs, whether that be a big adventurous walk or a leisurely stroll. Always down for a game of fetch with your dog, letting your cat roam free in all my cardboard boxes, or practicing some training!

Availability
I am fortunate that my job is fully remote and with working hours that remain flexible each day. This gives me plenty of space to prioritise pet care, walks, playtime and cuddles.
