Pet care experience
I have grown up being around dogs my whole life, whether it be my own dogs (Lucy who is a rescue) or my family/ friend's dogs. I have experience with dogs from a week old to 10 years and up. A close family friend is a dog breeder and trainer so I have been around all different breeds ranging from Corgi to Bernese Mountain dogs! I have house sat for different types of labs and huskies for as long as a week or weekend. As for cats I have done drop-in visits for all different ages and breeds such as orange tabbies, bengals, calicos and more! I love being around all types of animals and make sure while their owners are away they are still happy and comfortable.

Jen H has been pet sitting for me and my dogs for years. She is a neighbor of mine. I am a certified veterinary technician and breeder of English Labrador Retrievers for 25 years. Some of my dogs are finished champions. Caring for my dogs is my joy and their happiness and well being is one of the most important things in my life. I have entrusted adults dogs and new born puppies in Jen’s care. She is so responsible and accountable to their well being and has been superb at assuring me of their happiness and care taking in my absence. She has watched my dogs (and home) on overnights. Jen is responsible, respectful, dependable and trustworthy. I have forgone kennel overnights knowing that Jen is enriching the lives of all my dogs in her visits. I would strongly recommend her as an asset to anyone’s furry family. She really is an exception person and truly enjoys time with animals!
There are not enough words to describe how awesome Jen is. Whenever we have to leave our pup home, especially for long trips, we only trust her to watch him. I know when she is with him I don't have to worry about anything, and she always gives us updates. Having a husky, it can be a difficult task, but she has no problem dealing with his sassy attitude. She is great with walking, practices commands, maintains training, looks out for their health/grooming, and is always on time and reliable. Whenever she leaves our boy is always sad, and can't wait for her to return. If you want someone that you know will give your pup the same love and attention you give them, maybe even more, Jen is that person! Charming the Husky gives 2 paws up!
She is courteous and on time. Always has a smile on her face. She loves dogs and treats them with the upmost respect. She treated my dog just like it was her own. I would recommend her to anyone who wants their dog to be treated with the respect all animals deserve.
Jen is one of the biggest dog lovers I know, you can see the excitement on her face when she sees a dog, any size, age, breed, etc. She treats dogs just as amazing, maybe even better, than humans. You will always know your pet is in good hands when they are in her care!
