Pet care experience
Where to start? I grew up in the suburbs of Philadelphia with a pack of Springer Spaniels, cats, guinea pigs, ferrets, a parrot and far too many "rescued" backyard minnows. I worked as a veterinary technician at Friendship Hospital for Animals (a 24 hour emergency vet) in Washington Dc and at Parkside Hospital for Animals in Albany, NY before starting my own pet care company. Combining my love of the outdoors with a dedication to service and an entrepreneurial spirit, I decided to launch what would become the best pet care company the Capital Region had ever seen. I now live on a farm in Sharon Springs, NY. The farm is set on 30 gorgeous acres complete with a swimming pond, meadows, apple orchard and a 1799 colonial house. Resident dogs Argo and Pip help watch over the chickens, goats, sheep and three children that also live at the farm. Dogs are a part of our family when they stay at Brickhouse and are free to run, play, swim and relax throughout the day (star gazing and farm fresh eggs with breakfast at no extra charge). A stay at Brickhouse Farm is truly a vacation for your dog!

A typical day
A Brickhouse Farm, dogs can run in the orchard, chase rabbits in the meadow, swim in the pond, play a game of fetch, stay cool under the shade of the trees in the summer and by the fireplace in the winter, snuggle up on the couch and play with their doggy friends.
