Hello! My husband and I own a home in the Longfellow/Howe neighborhood with our 5 year old dog Siggy. We are just two blocks from the Mississippi River and the parkway, and just a short drive to the Minnehaha dog park. We are both huge animal lovers and absolutely love having dogs around. Having both grown up with dogs our entire lives, and dog sitting for many friends and family members, we have been around a wide variety of personalities and are always thrilled to meet new pups. Our dog Siggy is a 5 year old Golden Retriever, Great Pyrenees, Poodle mix who is honestly one of the friendliest dogs around. She gets along with pretty much every dog and loves to play outside, especially chase. We are happy to offer dog boarding, daycare and walking as needed. I am currently working from home full time so I would be able to devote lots of time and energy towards your dog. We have a fenced in yard and frequently take walks along the river and neighborhood. We do not have a lot of experience with watching dogs who exhibit any aggressive or extremely dominant behavior and at this time are not comfortable doing so. We would always like to do a meet and greet prior to committing to take care of your dog to make sure there are not any issues between the two, and to give you the opportunity to meet us and make sure we are the right fit for you.
