Pet care experience
ABOUT ME I've had my own dog daycare since the summer of 2013 and currently work as a nurse. I've had 18+ years of experience with dogs and have fostered dogs and have done pet therapy. There is a special place in my heart for senior pups and dogs with special needs, including dogs who are scared or nervous. MEET & GREET I like to start with a meet & greet to have you meet our dogs and me, and for us to get to know you and your dog(s) to see if it seems like a good fit for everyone. We will talk about your dog's routine, behaviors, and what your dog's "vacation" would look like; i.e. where you would like them to sleep, how often they need exercise, etc. DURING THE “VACATION” -You will receive texts/emails that include photos and updates -Exercise/activity -Feedings (and treats!) -Frequent bathroom breaks (at least 4/day) -Medication, if needed -Endless cuddling and love! MEDICATIONS As a nurse, I am comfortable administering any medications, orally or by injection. I have experience giving dogs insulin injections, oral medications, and eye ointment/drops. SAFETY We have gates up near all entrances so no escape artists should succeed. We have a fenced-in backyard, as well as a mini fenced-in dog run/kennel. Dogs are always accompanied during bathroom breaks or time in the yard.
Reviews
Denali loved Jen! She was a very happy pup when we picked her up! Jen sent frequent updates, was easy to communicate with and responded quickly to any questions we had. We will certainly ask Jen to watch Denali again!
Jen took great care of Harriet! From the moment we stopped for our meet and greet to when we picked her up, Harriet seemed comfortable and at ease! Jen was great with communicating with us too while we were gone. We would definitely have Harriet stay with her again!
Jen is amazing! Our dogs love her and going to her place. She takes care of each of them as if they were her own. Jen is a very caring, wonderful person who has a great amount of experience with all kinds of dogs. I trust her entirely.
Jen took great care of out Beau. With family things going on at the time, this review was missed. Sorry about that, Jen. We want Jen and clients know how great she was. We were in town from out of state, at a wedding. Wanted to be able to make the trip with Beau. Worked out great. This was Beau's last road trip with us, and gave us great memories from that. Thanks again, Jen

Information Jen C. would like to know about your pet
It is important to me to know routine and behaviors of your dog so I can give them the best stay. The more information, the better! This creates comfort and typically puts the dog at ease more quickly and allows them to enjoy their time at daycare. **My pups do best with smaller and low energy/older dogs. Teddy has vision limitations and likes when his space is respected, by both humans and dogs. Due to hearing loss, Keegan has become sensitive to barking and high pithed sounds. Some barking (at doorbell, meal time, etc.) is fine (they’re dogs after all!). I specialize in taking care of seniors, rescue dogs, and pups with special needs.
A typical day
Cuddling, walks, and lounging are our favorite activities. We have a quiet, low activity home for senior dogs, so most dogs tend to lounge and rest.

Availability
I have a flexible schedule to accommodate needs of guest dogs and much of my work is done from home, so it is easy to meet your pet's care.
