Pet care experience
I've had dogs most of my life (minus my time in the Air Force). Some of the breeds that I've had are Beagle, Samoyed, Boxer, Lab, German Shepard, and a Pit-mix - just to name a few! In December 2022, I began fostering dogs with Grass Roots Rescue. It has been such a rewarding experience for me! Many of them come into the rescue from terrible circumstances. With lots of love, time, patience, and training, I've watched them all flourish!

Our two golden had a daycare visit. We have been looking for home kennel situation as opposed to a commercial kennel, we found the place that we were looking for. Jen truly loves caring for dogs. Our two were very happy when we picked them up from the test visit. We will be using Jen for our needs as we move forward. Thanks for taking such good care of our giant fur babies.

While your pets are here, they're family! They will be introduced slowly to my pack. All playtime is supervised. I have over ½ an acre fenced-in yard with lots of room for them to run and play!

Just like people, each dog is unique. All boarding clients must agree to Meet & Greet ahead their stay. This ensures I am a good fit for your pup(s) and vice versa. Also, please let me know if there are any special requests, likes, or dislikes - so I can make sure they are happy, healthy, and safe in your absence!
A typical day
Weather permitting, we're outside quite a bit. Mostly romping around with the rest of the pack and sniffing all the things! Fetch is a household favorite! We also enjoy walks around the neighborhood when the weather is nice. On hot, summer days we bust out the doggie splash pad! If the weather isn't great, I have plenty of enrichment toys and games inside to keep them entertained - including a ball pit!!

Availability
After almost 30 years in the IT field, I've decided to hang up that hat and do petsitting full-time. Who wouldn't want to play with dogs all day instead?!
