Kind and friendly animal lover
Pet care experience
I’ve had animals my whole life, with cats since I was born, and when I was bought my first dog at age 10 I was over the moon. My love for animals has only grown over the years, with 2 cats and 1 kitten, 3 dogs and a horse. Since proving my ability to take care of animals to a high standard, family, friends and neighbours have relied on me when they are away on holiday to take good care of their beloved pets.
Reviews
Jemima was great with our dog Freddie. She made sure he was at ease being left with someone new and followed all of our instructions. Good communication too! Would have no problem asking Jemima to house sit again!
Jemima, is easy going, friendly competent and a mature carer. Clearly, she has a good rapport with different types of dog. I would confidently recommend her to look after others furry friends.
Jemima has looked after our multi-pet household, from cats, kittens, puppies, dogs and an elderly dog. She is also a keen horse-woman, so is comfortable around horses, ponies and all animals. She is trustworthy and can house-sit for either a few hours, full days or overnights, keeps everything tidy and is a good communicator, keeping us up to date on how things are. She arrives on time and does what she commits to with maturity and a lovely positive personality which means we can leave our pets and our home with confidence that all will be looked after.

Safety, trust & environment
I try to stick to the pets original routine so to not cause any distress to the animals, sticking with house rules and training. I am an extremely active person and enjoy going on walks either to a nearby park or driving a little further in order to have new sense to explore.

Information Jemima S. would like to know about your pet
Do let me know if your dog has any special needs or behaviours ahead of time so I can accommodate for them. Whether they need medication or have issues when walking, such as reactivity, I will try my best to adapt my schedule to make sure your pet is as comfortable as possible.
A typical day
I love playing with dogs and have lots of different ways to physically and mentally stimulate them. Whether it’s playing with a tug toy in the garden, giving them a frozen lick mat or going on walks through the woods around my area, the dogs all really enjoy exploring all the new sights and smells. With younger dogs, I find training extremely rewards, and for more senior dogs, that may be unable to go for long walks, just letting them into the garden and doing more low impact activities can be just as fun.

I’m a student at university of Bath and off term time, during Easter and summer holidays, I am completely flexible with days and hours I am able to work. I am extremely active and enjoy going on walks and runs and am happy to take a pet along if this is something they do regularly at home.
