Hey I'm Jem, I live with my better half Kirsty and my cat Mickey. We sadly lost our Barney boy in April 2021, the house feels very empty without him and I have so much love and care in me my cat is getting annoyed! So please do my cat a favour and let your dogs stay with us 😅 Both myself and Kirsty have grown up with dogs and always had them in our homes, we have looked after families doggies and friends puppies for the past 9years and I am now in a position where I can give 100% of my time to dogs!

I recently boarded my 2 dogs with Jem for a week while on holiday. Even at the first meeting my dogs were happy and relaxed in Jems home. It is really nice to be able to go away knowing that they are in a home from home and the daily updates are reassuring and something I looked forward to. I would 100% recommend Jem and will absolutely use Jems services again.
Jem has had my little sproodle since a puppy! She puppy sat twice a week with a sleepover, as I've changed jobs its now just for holidays and a couple of days a month. What I love is how much my dog loves her - when I go to pick ger up my dog rarely wants to leave (I try not to be offended) and she greets Jem when seeing her like she's not seen her in years and talks with so much excitement. We're lucky if we get that at home! Jem walks her, plays ball gives her a brush and so many snuggles! If my pup Georgie could write this she would say days with Jem are the best and she has a fun filled day!
We left our 11 week old Cockapoo for the first time ever with Jem, which was nerve wracking for both the puppy and me! We couldn’t have left her in safer hands, our pup had the best day running, playing and snoozing. Jem has a naturally loving personality and treated our pup as if she were her own. The house and garden were secure and clean and Jem took the time to show us the ways in which she has made it safe for such a tiny dog, which eased any worries we had. By the time we picked pup up, she had such a good day we struggled to get her out the door. Seeing how much fun she had, that she wasn’t overly tired (was allowed regular naps) and was fed and watered, we would use Jem over and over again. A home, away from home!
Jem is a very close friend and somebody I would trust with anything. I have known Jem for 5 years now and have seen her interact with several dogs one being my own puppy. Jem is loving, caring and fun and will have your dogs best interest at heart and strive to give them everything that they need.

A typical day
With the woods being only 5 minutes away your doggy can expect an adventure on every walk, not to mention endless amounts of toys and treats! My day to day life is really based around the dogs needs, some need a couple of hours in the woods twice a day, others only need a short walk round the block. Whilst dogs are in my care they are my priority, I only board dogs from the same house hold to ensure maximum comfort for your furry friends!.
