They call me Grizzly probably because I am like a big lovable Teddy Bear for your fur persons & family. I have had Canine friends since a was a small child. When I first got married, my first baby was a Yorkshire Terrier named "Snickers". I had Snickers almost 15 years, and the last 3 years of his life he was 90% blind, and lost half of his hearing. I had to learn how to care for a blind hard to hear fur person. Since then, I have raised dogs from puppies to rescued dogs, to senior dogs. I also trained dogs for 3 years at Blazing Trails K9 Academy. I always consider canines as fur persons & part of the family, and not an animal. I currently have 3 rescue fur persons, and one raised since he was a puppy. His name is Rocky, a 10 year old Baussie that I've had since he was 6 weeks old. He was neglected by his Mother and he is a nervous/hyper guy. I am the only one that can calm or soothe him down. Then there is my eldest George. He is almost 12 yrs old. He is a Terrier Poodle Mix that I rescued from Lancaster Animal Shelter at the age of 1, and boy can he be a Terror sometimes, but I love him the way he is. He's the smallest, and the boss. Anyone that knows Terrier breeds, knows they can be high maintenance, very intelligent, a mind of their own, and need activities to keep them busy. Then there is PoKo which means Lucky Nose in Korean. He is my 11 year old Golden Retriever whom I rescued over 2 years ago. He was treated like a junk yard dog. If you go with me, you get the total package, and your canine will have a friend for life. We can do a meet and greet to see if I am the right fit.
