Great until pickup time! We were super excited about boarding our pups for the first time with Jeffrey - picking them up, they seemed happy as ever and well cared for. The only caveat being that, when picking them up, we learned he had not used the requested head-harness for our leash reactive dog, citing that his experience outweighed ours and he opted for other methods. This was despite kindly informing him we asked this because of several thousand dollars worth of evidence-based, force-free training with highly accredited professionals. He was also made aware of our routine prior to accepting our scheduled stay. Unfortunately, Jeffrey was not willing to respect our request and was actually quite unprofessional. It seemed he mistook experience with boarding dogs equating to professionals who have dedicated hours and years to formal education in canine behavior. How unfortunate because we really did love him until pickup time! We are thankful for his time and kindness toward our dogs, but will not be using him ever again.
