I absolutely adore animals! I've lived with cats and dogs my entire life and have on occasion volunteered with animal shelters. I’ve been on Rover for several months now and I believe my reviews speak for themselves! If you book with me, you will receive way too many photos of your pet.

Jeff did a great job with my elderly greyhound and two senior cats! He was very communicative, caring, and dependable. And he managed to get great photos of my dog, who is quite camera-shy for me 😂.

I have two cats currently and adhere to a schedule of feeding and playing. I try to make playtime last around 20 minutes, or enough to tucker them out. One of the cats requires oral medication (she is okay, just anxious) so I’m comfortable with getting animals to eat foul tasting substances. When I’ve taken care of dogs, I would take them out three times a day. Often we would go to the dog park and I’d play fetch, or if with other trusted dog owners I’d take them off leash and let the dogs play with each other. Overall, I try to make sure the pets are safe and happy. In my own home, I have vet and emergency contact information on the fridge for anyone looking after my pets and I’d make sure to have that from you.

Please let me know of any reactivity issues, medications, or specific feeding instructions. Tell me what the dog is and isn’t allowed to do or be on. Any strange quirks would be nice to know as well!
A typical day
I usually adhere to the schedules set by the pet owners but left to my own devices I take dogs out for three walks a day. Depending on the the dogs behavior and ability, this might even turn into a run. Fetch and Tug are also classic standbys. Otherwise, the day is spent cuddling on the couch (if they’re allowed on the furniture, of course).

I am a remote freelance worker with a self-set schedule. A big part of why I am doing this is to get myself out of the house more at all times of the day, so I’m readily available whenever!
