I'm very flexible and patient with most pets though I don't have any professional experience. I have dog sat for 4 different dogs over the past year.

I have a 14 year old, 7lb. Toy Poodle that is very set in his ways. Max gets very excited when Jeff takes him for walks and loves staying overnight at Jeff’s house. I wholeheartedly trust him with my fur baby. L. Bass

In my dog sitting experience I generally fed and walked the pets & supplied any necessary medications. Most of my experience has been with smaller dogs but I have handled dogs up to 40lbs.

I typically prefer smaller dogs and they seem to get along with me. All said I like most dogs (and I do cat sit from time to time). I hang around my Mom's poodle every day and I definitely like the personality of most poodles and mixes.
A typical day
I regularly take care of a dog in downtown Lewes. He's a pretty active dog so we do 1-2 mile walks and pick a different route each time - to the beach or to the park. During downtime we just watch tv together. My other little dog I watch is older and can only do short walks. I hide treats around the house to keep him entertained. I did some dogsitting in the summer for a very old dog and a young Pit mix. The Pit was a little too much for me - too strong and wanted to run for miles.

Availability
I'm currently working part time and find dog walking a great way to exercize. I see 1 or 2 dogs everyday and take them for walks.
