Pet care experience
In between acting gigs I Have opened my home to taking care of other dogs. In 2004 my husband and I adopted 2 rescue dogs. We lost one (our sweet girl Marcy) to Cancer in March 2019 so we opened up our home to lovable dogs to help fill the hole she left in our hearts. As of March 1, 2020 we unfortunately, sadly said goodbye to our second dog, Ted, a 16-year-old diabetic terrier (also to cancer). Very familiar with administering medication including insulin injections. I love to play with dogs, take them for walks/hikes and I always accept their kisses. I have a great fenced-in yard for them to play in. All I ask is your dog have all it’s necessary shots, be housebroken, and get along with other dogs. When I’m not doing acting gigs I’m home to give full attention to your dog. Doing daycare I will be home all day but if boarding a dog (especially multiple days) it should be a given that I’m allowed outings from time to time. So, please, make sure your dog can be alone at least 3-4 hours.

Thank you for taking good care of Tulip when she wasn't feeling well.

Jeff is fantastic, so kind and generous and our boys always come back so happy. We never worry when we leave, because we know they are so well taken care of. When we pulled up to Jeff’s house, they started barking and getting so excited to see him. Thanks Jeff for all your help. We’re so glad we found you!

Murphy spent 2+ weeks with Jeff while we were out of the country. Jeff provided regular updates and took excellent care of him while we were away. Murphy had so much fun playing with the other dogs too - it was a great experience all around.

Our first time leaving our two boys and Jeff was absolutely fantastic! One of our pups Murray is 15 and gets a little anxious, but Jeff calmed him down and made him feel so comfortable in his “home away from home”. Our 3 year old Monty had a ball sitting in Jeff’s lap and running around with the other pups. You can tell how much experience Jeff has with taking care of dogs with his calm, caring manner and we’re so glad to have found him!

Fenced-in yard. They sleep with me in the guest room. I give them a lot of attention. Unless they need me to back off. :)

Besides being housebroken, I prefer dogs who don’t mark in the house. I’ve had a few do this even after many walks or trips to the backyard. They HAVE to get along with other dogs. I tend to watch 2-3 at a time. Small to medium dogs (30 POUNDS OR LESS IS MY PREFERENCE). This pandemic has messed up lots of dogs and my clients have been very pleased that I can get dogs to interact with each other in a controlled environment.
A typical day
Do a lot of hiking in Greenbelt, Lake Artemesia, Great Falls, and other nearby hiking trails. Love throwing a ball around the yard, even if they don’t fetch :)

Availability
Unless I’m cast in something, I’m home pretty much. I do walk a dog Monday-Fridays from about 12:55-1:35pm, though. In the past I’ve let clients know if I have a function/prior engagement to go to. Then, unless you bring a cage, I’ll keep them contained to one room. With water, toys, and classical music playing.
