We are the go-to place for our friends and their dogs. They love the large, clean and safe back yard, and the plethora of squirrels to chase. We have a small doggy door so our small dog friends can come and go as they please (until we lock everyone in when the sun goes down). For medium-sized and larger dogs, we keep the sliders open whenever needed. Both of the adults who live in the house work from home, so your dogs will get all the love and attention they deserve. We have been dog owners for the last 20 years, and have had the range of very large to very small dogs. We love them all! We currently have one small dog living in the house who is very patient with older dogs and loves to play with other energetic pups. We are excited to give your dogs a home away from home. A couple of notes: -If your dog is highly food motivated (like… would knock down a kid to get to her snack or find their way in our closed-lid trashcan), we’re not a good fit. We keep food locked away, but can’t fit our lidded trashcan under a cabinet and our kids do sometimes eat on the couch. They know not to give food to dogs, but it’s hard when pups are pulling it out of their hands. - Also, if your dog likes to hunt down and eat non-food items (paper, dolls,toys), we’re not a good fit. We keep the house tidy but sometimes our kids leave stuff out, and don’t want your dog to get injured after eating a bunch of Barbie shoes. Bonus if your dogs like to play fetch with tennis balls, as our kids can throw those for hours.
