Pet care experience
My favorite activity is to take my dog to the Lake Minnewashta Dog Park and I’d be happy to take your pup there. I’m also happy to take your dog for a short run or play fetch with your pup. We can keep it simple too and I can stop by to feed, let out your dog, or do a short play session. I’ve had my dog for 14 years and am experienced in giving medicine, elder dog care (diapers/ having to carry a dog into a car or up and down stairs), and following direction. I’m a believer that common sense goes a long way.

At this point I am not committing to staying at another home. When my dog comes home from a walk I generally wipe off his feet and make sure he has plenty of water. If I were to take your dog out, I’d make sure your pup has clean paws prior to entering your home, I would check to make sure to replenish the dog bowl and do a quick walk around your home to make sure there are no hazards (food, fragile items within reach, etc) and I’d be sure to follow specific instructions (give meds, take out certain pet toy, etc)

I’d like to know if a dog has any special needs (medical, accommodation or otherwise). I also would like to get to know a dog and its demeanor- how does your pup react around other dogs, people, kids, squirrels,etc. Finally, I’d try to learn whether a dog should be taken out for a brisk walk, a run, or a leisurely sniff. Each dog is unique and it is important to meet them where they are are and cater to their individual needs
A typical day
I love taking my dog or other dogs to Lake Minnewashta fenced in dog forest. I am happy to stay there in excess of an hour. I also visit the Bryant Lake dog park. I often take my dog for one to two mile walks and I’d be happy to do the same with your dog.

Availability
I’m pretty open during the work week and can commit to most requests when I have notice. I take my dog to Minnewashta dog park around 8:15a every morning and if you live near there, and our dogs get along, I’d be happy to pick your pup up and take him or here there with us.
