Pet care experience
Frankly, my wife and I just love dogs :) If we didn’t travel so much we’d have at least 2 of our own. I grew up caring for a black lab who thought she was a cat, and a German Shepard who loves to carry oversized sticks. I’m a big fan of summer walks and love both small and big, happy pups. I live in Seattle with my wife and we occasionally dog-sit for friends. I’m also ok with dogs who don’t do well with other dogs...I get that some dogs just prefer quality human time.

I love taking dogs on walks and short runs, come by to feed breakfast/dinner with a post-meal hang-out session, or just swinging by to check in and give pets. Our house isn’t the best suited for dog-sitting, so it’s best if I can come to you.

I’m open to just about any breed. I’d prefer that the dog be house-trained and friendly, but happy to visit shy or timid dogs too.
A typical day
Dog parks (leashes please — at least until more familiar with the dog), walk around the neighborhood, play or nap at home, go on a short nearby hike

Availability
I work from home (north Seattle) and have a fairly flexible schedule. I have a car and don’t mind driving a bit to meet a furball. If potty-trained and mid- or small-sized, also happy to transport for parks and walks if needed.
