Pet care experience
I’m an all around animal lover that has taken part in fostering dogs of all sizes in the past. I help run a business with a very flexible schedule that would allow me to travel for drop ins, walks, and house sitting. I’m comfortable being around dogs of all breeds and sizes as well as cats. I live on 22 acres of wooded property that sits up against the Yadkin River. I’ve always treated all animals like family and I know I would make a good fit for most pet owners. Plenty of time and plenty of love to give to your pet while you’re out of town so that hopefully your best friends barely even miss a beat while your family is out of town. If you have 3 or more animals, I am willing to talk about and negotiate my rates for the additional animals to attempt to help make it a little more affordable.

My mom said that my dog, Aru, wiggle butts so hard when Jeff comes to walk him that it looks like he'll snap in half. I would highly recommend and will continue to book with him.
Jeff is fantastic! He has stayed with our pups several times over the last few years and each time is great! Our dogs love Jeff and we are always comfortable leaving them in his care.
Jeff was great to communicate with. The dogs loved him. This was our first time have a house/dog sitter in home. We were not sure what to expect. Jeff was really good to walk us through the process. He helped us have such peace of mind while away. He went over and beyond while at our home. It was really appreciated. Would definitely use him again!

A typical day
I’ve often played fetch and tug with many of the dogs that I have watched in the past. I believe it’s important to help them burn off some of the nervous energy they sometimes can experience when their owners are away. I don’t mind taking them on walks around your neighborhood or if they are good in the car, I will sometimes take them to the dog park to run wild and free if you feel that they do well in those types of situations.

Availability
I run a tubing and kayak company during the summer months, but I’m available for pop-ins and house sitting during that time of the year. During this time, I sometimes have to be at work for longer periods of time on the weekends. So, it can be harder for me to accept house sittings for pets that need round the clock care or need potty breaks in shorter interval during the summer months. Feel free to reach out to me so we can have a conversation about your pet’s needs. In the off-season, I have plenty of availability and a very flexible schedule.
