Pet care experience
I am a life long dog lover. I have years of experience walking, playing with, cooking for, feeding, bathing, and even de-skunking dogs. I've cared for and worked with dogs that are aggressive towards other animals, anxious dogs, and easily frightened dogs. I am currently taking care of my family's extremely high energy border collie who requires a special diet. No dog is too big, small, anxious or excitable!

Jedidiah was an amazing babysitter when I had to be away from my 2 Maltese-poodle dogs in his care. He gave them timely walks twice a day (once in the morning and once in the evening), fed one of my dogs medication and vitamins in the morning, and he even cooked nutritious hot meals for them! The loving way he talks about my dogs shows that he really cares, and 10/10 would recommend him as a dog-sitter!
Jed and I were long-term pet sitters together when our mutual friend would have to leave the states on deployment. He was amazing with that dog, she liked him more than her original owner to be honest. He would always go on great hikes with her and play with her so she could let out all her crazy (she was half blue heeler). I'm not exaggerating when I say that this dog was certifiably insane, but at the end of our long bouts of pet sitting she somehow turned out more well-behaved than when she arrived, and that's entirely to the credit of Jed.

I can reliably maintain the safety and security of your dog, whether that means using harnesses and crates or providing the correct food and enough water. Your pet is safe in my hands. At my home we use an invisible fence to keep our pup away from a busy road. He is fed twice a day with homemade nutritionally balanced and researched dog food.

A typical day
When I take a dog out for a walk I like to go at their pace and give them as much time as they want to sniff, smell, and explore. After all its their walk, not mine! I'll play, run, chase, throw balls-- whatever your pet finds most stimulating and enjoyable.
