Pet care experience
Fully vaccinated for Covid-19. I grew up on a farm with many pets and spent 5 years as a District Area Trainer for Petsmart. I specialized in basic training, targeting, and Cainine Good Citizen Therapy Training. I am a current PhD student finalizing my dissertation while recently having moved to Seattle. My job and my graduate student status mean I spend a lot of time working remotely from a computer. This means I have a relatively flexible schedule allowing me plenty of availability to spend time with your pets and give them lots of energy burning activities and attention. For over night visits this also means I can schedule to be there the the entire time. I am happy to bring my training experience to the time I spend with your loved puppy dog or kitty cat. By making my time with them full of mental and physical stimulation I will do my best to wear them out and aim to increase their calmness level when you arrive home. I look forward to spending time with you 4 legged family members.

I prefer to meet the pets prior to taking care of them without you home to ensure it is a good fit for everyone involved. This helps reduce the stress of your pet as I take care of them in your absence. I do not have a pet of my own currently so there is no worry about out furry friends getting along. I make sure to stick to the routine you and your family already have for you 4 legged members to ensure as little as possible changes in the environment

A typical day
Take them for lots of walks, or play in the yard if available. Ensure we mix that with time in the house of mental stimulizatumion and energy burning activities.
