Pet care experience
I work full-time as a school librarian with summers off. All my life I have been a dog lover and have always had a dog to love and care for. Currently, I have a sweet, loving, black lab, Bella. Bella and I take long walks early in the morning before work and after work as well. We love to spend time with our other dog-loving friends at dog parks to expend some energy and to get exercise! When I am relaxing on the couch at night, you will always find my pet on my lap. Bella is a sweet dog who loves to cuddle, and I never miss an opportunity to spend that quality time with her! Your dog will become part of our family during their stay. During overnight stays, I will ensure your pets are properly cared for and loved.

Jeannine is an animal lover and has cared for our Fox Red Labrador, Leo, on many occasions. As a mother of four, Jeannine treats animals much like she does her own children—with love, affection, and a lot of care. There is no one we would trust more with our pups.

I live close to many walking paths and dog parks, so walking your sweet pups will not be an issue with no-fenced yard while boarding. If your fur baby needs to be crated at night, I am able to accommodate your needs. Over the years, I have had to administer medicine to my pets and will do the same for yours.

I would love to know anything and everything about your dog! Do they have any special dietary needs, treat preferences, or food allergies? Are there any areas that your dog does not like to be pet? What is your dog’s sleeping preferences? As far as breed preferences, I do not have any; I love all dogs.
A typical day
When your dog stays with me, we will enjoy walks through my quite subdivision with a forest preserve close by as well. We will also take advantage of the near-by Peck Farm walking path and play in my fenced-in back yard. I have tennis balls, kongs, and all kinds of dog toys to play with your dog!

Availability
During the school year, I am available on the weekends for overnights, and boarding opportunities, as well as for walks and in-home visits. I am available full-time during the summer months for all services.
