I've had dogs for 25 years. My husband and I have boarded dogs on occasion, and found that we really enjoy it! I'm patient, playful and loving, and have never met a dog I didn't love. I live across the street from parks in a quiet neighbourhood with little traffic. We're also steps away from a connection of forested and paved trails that run through our neighbourhood.

We were so lucky to have Jeannine take care of our Finn. She did a wonderful job and always provided updates and sent photos. We definitely will be boarding Finn with Jeannine in the future.
Jeannine is a reliable, interactive and amazing dog and house sitter! She has babysat our Samoyed, Sampson on multiple occasions, for as long as just over a week at a time, both at our home and hers. She takes him for long walks, really spends time with him and sends regular updates and photos in which he is always looking happy! Our dog is quirky and high maintenance and she knows just how to handle him! Her dog Alice is a very sweet dog too and great with other dogs. Sampson can be a bit of a loner and Alice reads him well and they both just do their own thing. My house always looks better than how I left it when I get home too! The fact that Jeannine is trained in doggy first aid is such a plus too so I always know my boy is in good hands. I highly recommend Jeannine as a dog sitter! Your furry friend will have a great time and be in great care!
Jeannine is a loving and caring pet owner. She has taken the time to earn her first aid for pets. Safety is always uppermost in her mind while caring for pets. She has taken care of my dog, several times for a few weeks at a time. Making sure my pet was well cared for, walked and fed. Even a visit to the vet, when necessary. I would highly recommend Jeannine as a caring, and responsible dog walker or pet sitter

I have a fenced deck, a tidy home, and a friendly, very happy dog to keep yours company. There is an off-leash dog park across the street from our home if your dog needs space to run in a safe environment. *I also have a large crate in case your dog needs to be crated during the day, if I step out for a bit, or to sleep in overnight. I also have dividers for the crate to make it smaller to accommodate medium to small dogs.

Let me know of any specials needs your dog has regarding behaviour, medication, potty breaks. If they are leash reactive (which I am well familiar with) what do you do to keep them calm? Any dietary needs when it comes to treats?
A typical day
We'll take walks on the trails around my house. We can play fetch in the park, and play in the off-leash dog park. There are lots of wonderful trails all around!

Now that I work at home full-time with a fairly flexible schedule, I have lots of time to spend with your dog. I'm available for boarding or daycare 7 days a week.
