Hi! My name is Jeannessa. I am currently studying for my BA at CSU Monterey Bay and I am working towards a career in K9 training. I have owned dogs my entire life and I have multiple years of experience caring for pets of all kinds. I previously managed a local daycare, boarding, and Pet Spa facility in Monterey. I am Certified Dog Trainer, working underneath a local Master Trainer in Marina to obtain my speciality certifications. Ask me about my training services! I am here to provide exceptional care for your pets. I love to go for walks and adventures out in nature, and at night I love to cuddle with dogs. I love dogs of all shapes, sizes, and ages, especially the big, cuddly ones! I have experience working with both geriatric and special needs pets. I have experience in administering oral and injection medications, as well as experience with general health care such as nail trimmings, bathing, and brushing. Jeannessa is exceptional qualified to take care of our little Leo, who can be a bit anxious and is still growing out of puppyhood. I so appreciate the pics and videos she sent while we were away and for treating us and our dog with such care.
Highly recommend Jeannessa. She took care of our pup over a long weekend and made us feel super comfortable from the moment we met. She sent plenty of updates and photos, and took great care of our little one. We’ll be calling her next time we need a sitter!

While I am caring for your pet, I will provide consistent supervision and affection. I also am extremely diligent when it comes to the safety of your pet outside your home. If I transport your pet in my car, they will be secured with a harness attached to a pet seat belt.

A typical day
I love driving to trails for long hikes as well as walks around the neighborhood. Fetch is one of my favorite dog activities! We will spend tons of time playing and having fun. I live just a block away from a local dog park, which I like to utilize for one-on-one fetch time.

I am currently a student and employed, but home frequently. If I am not home, my partner usually is, and I am never gone for more than 4 hours at a time.
