Pet care experience
I am an experienced vet tech, comfortable with administering medications (oral, injection, etc) and subcutaneous fluids, etc and I am Pet CPR certified. I run a local non-profit animal welfare organization, and have lots of experience/high comfort level with "behavior" dogs. I specialize in dog walking. I can also help with nail trimming and grooming, and basic dog training and clicker training. I am knowledgeable in essential oils for dogs, as well medicine through diet. Because this is event season, Saturdays are difficult for me to do (I will usually be at adoption/rescue events) and as the primary caregiver for my pets and foster pets overnight stays are usually not possible.

Looking for someone to look after your pups can be a little scary. You are leaving their lives in someone else’s hands. Well Jeani took all those fears away. I felt a relief that she was the one in charge of our two very big dogs. There was only one time she was not punctual and it was because she was trying to save another dog. You can’t ask for anyone better than that. She’s a 10 in our book.
Jeani did an awesome job! I got a ton of photos every time she went there to see my boy. Very good records too, letting me know how many times he went to the bathroom and how much he ate.

Jeani was perfect, we received regular updates and pics of our fur babies along with a nice summary of her in-home visit. I didn’t worry at all while we were away. Jeani even offered to help us when we had an issue on our trip. I will gladly recommend and use Jeani again the next time we need pet care.

Because I have a whole pack of dogs and I foster for my rescue, I do not offer services in my own home. In your home, I will try to stick as much as possible to the schedule you already have for your dogs so there is as little change as possible while you are away!

I will need to know your dogs schedule (not just feeding but also pottying and/or treats) as well as any behavior information to help me better read your dog (such as cues when your dog wants to go out, is nervous, etc)
A typical day
I can include additional training while I am checking on your pets, or just focus on enrichment and playtime activities. I have a stroller if your small dog likes getting out but can't walk far, or I can take your larger, active dog on a super long walk to help wear them out.
