Pet care experience
I am fully insured! I have cared for a variety of pets throughout the years including dogs, cats, horses, birds, hamsters, gerbils, mice, rats, ferrets, guinea pigs, iguanas, snakes, goats, fish, and even a monkey. I have experience walking, feeding, and giving love to critters as well as bathing them and cleaning up their respective spaces. I also have experience administering medicine to dogs and cats: pills, chews, drops, and shots (one dog I cared for had diabetes and needed insulin 2x/day).

Jeannette did a fantastic job! She went way above and beyond what was needed, including spending extra time playing and walking her. She even did the dishes that she used while feeding Maddie. I loved the pictures that she sent too. I would recommend Jeannette highly! It was obvious that she gave Maddie a lot of love and care while she was with her!!!!
We wanted to tip Jeanette for her amazing service! I wish we could give her more! She was invaluable and amazing!

I am a very hands-on pet caretaker, I like to be active with animals to keep them upbeat and happy. I am experienced walking dogs on leashes as well as off leash (e-collars). I have one indoor/outdoor cat who is very friendly. When caring for a client's pet I prefer to keep their routine as normal as possible to minimize stress and make them as comfortable as possible.

The most important thing I want to know about an animal is what makes them happy! Whether it's butt scratches, tummy rubs, or chasing the Frisbee until they fall asleep. Knowing their routine is important, as well as their demeanor with other animals. Any quirks or mannerisms are also helpful to know.
A typical day
Weekends: My day starts with going outside for a quick potty break, then breakfast for your critters. From there the fun begins! I take the dogs outside for fetch, walks, and sunbathing. In the afternoons I spend time with the animals outside (weather permitting) before dinner time. Then it's time for rest, relaxation, pets and bedtime.

I work for the FL Department of Health in Naples Mon-Fri and have my nights and weekends free to devote to your pets. If you work nights or need a weekend away I am the perfect person to take care of your furry children.
