Since an early age my family has lived with pets. Dogs, cats and fish mostly. Some of my greatest friends in life have been these pets, creating some of my fondest childhood memories. As an adult living in santo domingo city while working as an artist, I came across a few dogs and cats that were homeless and took them into my care. My latest puppy I found under a car at a sidewalk next to a car wash after coming home from a photo shoot. This dog, after days of consideration, I called Arte(Art in spanish). We lived closely together while I worked on writing until I moved back to New York last fall. He stayed with his "mommy" a very close lifelong friend, and has had a couple skype calls with me in which I see he is very happy. I am currently "pet-less", and after a few random suggestions, I decided that I really like caring for animals, and have always seen myself as a buddy and never an owner.
