Pet care experience
Hi! I'm Jean and I love dogs! Unfortunately I am very allergic to cats but I'd love to meet your dog. My experience comes from caring for my own dogs, a 7 year old sassy shiba inu and 9 year old pug (our beloved pug passed from cancer in 2021). I've also dogsat for family and friends over the years. I have experience administering basic oral medication. I love spending time with dogs whether it's on the couch cuddling, going to the park or walking around your neighborhood, playing games or training. And I don't mind walking in the rain :)

Please let me know the size, age, and breed of your dog. Also let me know of any quirks, sensitivities, diet restrictions, training you might be working on, your dogs comfort level with strangers, other dogs, leash aggression, etc. I want to make sure your pup is comfortable and happy!
A typical day
We'll go on walks to your dog's favorite places or try out a new park or neighborhood nearby for new sniffs. I only do on-leash walks for safety reasons, but if you have a backyard I can play off-leash with your dog there too. If you like (totally optional and depending on the dog), we can train a little while out on a walk too. Practicing calming down, stopping, sitting with high value treats.

Availability
I currently have a flexible schedule to take care of your dog when/where convenient for you. Currently I'm only doing walking and drop-in visits. I only do on-leash walks for safety reasons. In the spirit of full transparency, if your dog needs off-leash exercise or running I'm not a good fit.
