Pet care experience
My name is Jean-Paul and I would love to look after your pet. I know how much trust it takes to leave your beloved family member with new people and hope to give a few reasons why I would be a good choice. First off, I have experience caring for dogs with extra needs and am diligent with giving medication and making sure any specific requests are satisfied. I have fostered dogs with serious illnesses as well as physical impairments and can adapt to each dog's needs. I am also familiar with dogs with anxiety and behavior quirks from my experience with my own dog. Above all, I love spending time with dogs and getting to learn their personalities. Thanks for your consideration and I hope to have the opportunity to care for your friend.

Cooper was happy with Jean and Andee
We got so many updates and were happy and comfortable leaving our pup with Andrea and Jean-Paul. We will be leaving on our honeymoon soon and Scout will again be with them. This will be the longest we have been away from our pup but we know we can vacation with some peace.
Jean-Paul was so communicative and so very helpful! Edison (who can be pretty grumpy) seemed very content and happy while he was at their house, and i got load of photos and information. I would absolutely use these guys again to watch our dog!
Kudos to Jean-Paul and Andrea. You both did a fantastic job. I don't know what y'all did but she was one tired Westie. What I thought was cute was that they sent a video which I have never received from any of the other Rover sitters and that was cute. Whoever took the video must have been very quiet as Jobu was in her zone. Usually when she knows someone is doing something she jumps up and play starts all over again. That one picture that you sent with the yellow ball was priceless. You both nailed her favorite game (fetch!!!!!) You bet I will definitely use Jean-Paul and Andrea when I return to Austin.... Best choice EVER!!!

In my own home, my dog is my shadow so while I work or relax, she is usually snuggled on a chair or a soft rug. As mentioned, I give her medication in the morning everyday and make sure she goes in the yard for morning potty. I make sure that her food portioned twice daily and that her water bowl is filled. Me and my partner do allow her on our couch and bed but we will certainly follow owner's directions when it comes to our guest pooches. Since there are two of us in the house, we can make sure our guest dogs have enough space and attention while we slowly introduce them. If needed or requested, we can keep them separated the entire duration of stay while not sacrificing the comfort and attention we give the dogs. While we don't have doggy doors to the yard, we do make sure our dog goes out to the yard for potty breaks and exercise. Temperature permitting, we go for at least one walk a day, and could accommodate more walks at the dog owner's request.

Information Jean-Paul & Andrea H. would like to know about your pet
Some helpful information to know about a new guest would be their energy level, potential medications needed, any behavioral issues, dietary needs or restrictions, and learned commands. It would also be helpful to know of any crate training or treat reinforcements that need to be followed in order to build on a dog's regular routine.
A typical day
We have a nice park with a trail nearby that is great for walks. We also have a yard where we have space to play fetch, tug of war, or just lounge. While our own dog doesn't play with tough chew toys, we have collected some throughout the years that would be perfect for higher energy dogs.

Availability
My own Yorkie Poo, Zazie, requires daily medication in the morning so she fits into my routine everyday. I take her on walks at least once (usually twice when it's cooler out) and make sure she gets time out in our yard to hang out. Food and water is monitored, of course, so it's safe to say my dog is a significant part of my daily life.
