Hey! My name is JC Vogt and I'm a 23-year-old Midwest transplant that moved to Portland 2 months ago. I have extensive experience caring for both dogs and cats of all ages (I grew up with 4 dogs and 2 cats), as well as my family's wolves that we rescued over seven years ago. I am capable of house-sitting your pet at home, hosting your pet at my home while you are away, and I am occasionally available for dog walking throughout the week. I live an active lifestyle, and make sure your pets have plenty of play time both at home or away at a local park. JC is a very sweet and sensitive person who was great with my very sensitive and sweet cat, Kovu. He also had a wonderful appreciation for the house and kept good care of it while I was gone. Kovu seemed happy and cared for when I returned, and I was glad to have someone in the house who enjoyed it, and there was a positive energy to it all when I got home after a week away.
JC would be a fantastic caretaker for any pets. He grew up with both dogs snd cats and always found joy In his pets! We rescue high content wolf dogs as well now and JC understands the complexities of harder to handle animals and is as capable of caring for them as he is the common house dog. He loves each animal for its individuality whether cat, dog or Wolfdog and he is responsible and compassionate!
