Pet care experience
I am a middle school math special education teacher. I am looking for extra work during the summer and school year away from the classroom. I dog and cat sat and dog walked throughout college for four years. I cared for a 15-year-old labrapoodle and I cared for a 7-year-old bordie collie for a combined 5 years. I took them on daily walks, fed them according to a strict meal regimen, and made sure they were safe. The 15-year-old dog had health issues so I have experience in responding to health crisis with elderly dogs and know how to respond in case of an emergency. I am willing to commute and can do overnight visits if needed. I also have experience with cats! I personally have four cats (ages 1, 1, 1, and 2) and three kittens (3 weeks) who I love dearly. I’m able to administer medicine, feed, and care for all breeds and ages of cats.

Jazmyne has always loved animals. She’s kind, caring, attentive, and aims to comfort. Since she doesn’t have human children, her cats (& kittens) have filled that space in her world. She will be a great sitter for any animal - she’ll make sure to do everything asked of her and she’ll also use her best judgement for anything unexpected that may come up. Jazmyne is great!

I have cats so animals need to be friendly with cats. We dog sat for a few weeks and my cats were friendly with the dogs. If the animals must stay with me, I prefer cats as my schedule makes dog walking from my home challenging. I can do drop ins!

A typical day
We would go for several walks. We would go play at the park. We’d okay fetch, with toys, etc. We’d be active and have so much fun. There’s a massive park by my house that I frequent.

Availability
I do have a full-time job so per care is part time for me. I’m saving to buy a house and go on a trip so I’m really looking for extra income. Teaching takes up my time during the day, but I’m available in the evenings and weekends for pet sitting. I’m also available during holidays and the summer.
