Volunteering at an Animal Shelter predominantly occupied by chis and pits has allowed me to understand the exercise needed for dogs of multiple sizes. I am attentive and flexible when working with dogs because personalities vary. Many dogs at the shelter are under socialized and scared, they are often times not dog friendly or dog selective thus I am aware of how to deal with a wide range of behaviors. Walking strong pit bull breed dogs that are not leash trained has allowed me to learn more about safe dog handling and growing to become a confident dog walker. I am also knowledgeable about how to have controlled play groups if need be or if there's multiple pets in the home. I am very attentive and able to accommodate each dog's and owner's needs.
