Pet care experience
Neglect is not in my vocabulary. If you trust me with your dog, rest assured: s/he’s in responsible and attentive hands. I’ll make sure to follow all instructions given to me by you and I will go to great lengths to ensure your dog’s happiness. While caring for my adopted, sweet bunny (now deceased; sadly, I couldn’t cure her cancer) I have learned patience, attentiveness, and responsibility. I’ve nursed her back to health more than once and will do the same for your pet if necessary. You never know what can happen... needless to say, I’m prepared for the worst while doing all I can to ensure the best. I live in a spacious apartment with a few small parks nearby, so your dogs will have plenty of opportunities for exercise. Currently, I have no pets in my home, so your dog will be receiving all of my love and attention! We haven’t left our 6 year old dog with a sitter in a few years, so we were a little nervous bringing him to a new spot - I’m so glad we met Jazana! She was wonderful. Jazana is probably the sweetest person I’ve met so far. She sent me pictures and kept me updated all through out the boarding and her dedication showed which kept my mind at ease. My pup was genuinely happy and definitely enjoyed her time with Jazana and I knew she was in good hands. I would highly recommend her and if I could give her more than 5 stars I would!

In my home, I’ll care for your pets as well as you would and based on your instructions. So, if they are used to having a crate at home or aren’t allowed on the furniture or to eat table food, for example, I can accommodate those needs. Also, I try to organize a meet and greet with all new clients and their dogs, so that we both are comfortable.

Before hosting a dog, I always like to know his or her meal schedule (if any), activity level, pet peeves, attitude towards other dogs, and if he or she has any special needs or medication that I need to administer.
A typical day
We’ll play with toys, run around the apartment, walk all over the East Falls neighborhood, and along the Schuykill River. If you are comfortable with your dog being off leash, then we can walk to my building’s dog park, and play fetch and make some new friends with other dogs (I’ll be sure to bring my portable water bowl of course). At the end of the day we’ll cuddle on the couch and in bed.

Availability
I’m currently a grad student, so I’m pretty much home studying outside of class and won’t be traveling for long periods of time outside some holidays.
