I have been dog sitting, training, and fostering since 2009. I’ve done long term stays and short term walks. I have experience with puppies, senior dogs, and dogs with little behavioral quirks! I have two large dogs of my own, one of them is a 13 year old Sheppard mix who often helps dogs who have had negative experiences re write their story!!

I do not care for pets in my own home as one of my dogs is very specific about what animals he feels comfortable with and I respect his boundaries. In your home, I am very respectful of your privacy and of the fact that it is your animals safe space. I treat with care and respect, removing my shoes, leaving closed doors closed, bringing my own food, and ensuring the integrity of your space is maintained. I have many references from clients I have house sat for.

What are your dogs behavioral quirks! I am cool with most behaviors (no dogs with a significant bite history) I just like to know what they are so I can be prepared to support you and your dog in a way that makes sense for them! I like to know if they have areas they don’t like to be pet or touched, if they are sound sensitive, if they have commands you want me to use, if you’re working on training exercises, if they are dog or cat reactive, if they are escape artists!
A typical day
If your dog isn’t dog reactive I love to take them on hikes in the nature trails! I love playing enrichment games with dogs, having them show me their tricks, and if the owner is interested in positive socialization or positive behavior modeling I can take them on walks with my angel dog River Boyz

Availability
I’m a grad student and university instructor who is off for the summer! I would love to fill my time with your furry friends! In the school year I’m available for walks and overnight stays.
