Pet care experience
I grew up with a family dog for 14 years of my life and she was our baby. Since she passed, my sister has adopted a dog and now we take him in like our own. Having two great dogs in my lifetime has grew my love for them and all they have to offer :)

Jayne took amazing care of our 3 dogs when we were gone. She stayed with them last minute when our other plans fell through. It was our first (desperate) time using Rover, and it was a great experience. I wasn't familiar with Rover, but she was very helpful at making adjustments to dates, etc on the website. Our dogs were very happy to see us, but I could tell they were well loved and cared for I our absence. She was organized and thoughtful with great communication. I highly recommend Jayne.
I have a 110lb. Mastiff-Boxer that can be a lot to handle sometimes, and Jayne was wonderful with him! She’s dogsat for me a few times now and has went above and beyond each time. Very nice girl and very flexible!!
Jayne helped cater for our family dog since she was 4 yrs old. She also dog sat for neighbors while they were on vacation. She has had at least a part time job since she was 16 and full time internships the last 2 summers. She’s very responsible and has a good work ethic.

Although dog walking does not require many in-home needs, I will treat them like my own and protect them on the road if needed. Dog walking should be fun and relaxing, not draining!

Depending on the age of the dog, I’d like to know how active they are and what stimulates them the best in order to ensure they are happy with the visit!
A typical day
I love taking walks myself so I would bring the dog along and take him/her to any nearby parks as permitted. Additionally, if the house has a fenced in backyard I’d play around with the dog and play fetch if that is something they are into!

Availability
I am currently a full time business student at Ohio State looking to make some extra money on the side of classes while also being around animals I love. This would be a great break in my schedule to relax and get some exercise outdoors!
