Hi, I'm Jayme a senior at Portland State University and I pet sit to add a little income to help while I am attending college. I have a lot of experience house sitting for friends. From little things like feeding the fish to doing basic treatments to horses while families are away. I am comfortable with small dogs and have house sat for dogs as large as Doberman Pinchers, am also comfortable giving medication to dogs and cats and comfortable taking care of low maintenance fowl and birds. I have worked at a horse training barn full time where I was responsible for the well-being of more than 24 horses during the day. Working closely with veterinarians and clients to make sure their horses are in the best of health and prepared for the rigors of training. Also I traveled with the horses to out of state shows and was responsible for taking care of them completely. From 5 am to 12 am, I would make sure the horses were put first so they performed and felt their best. Personally, I have been raised around animals my whole life. Currently my family has three cats who were at one time barn cats and they decided to move in! So much for mousing in the barn, they've found the good life. We are looking to add another canine to the family after sadly putting my childhood dog down. I also have a small horse breeding venture going on to develop my future riding horse. I have five horses, one foal, a yearling, a two-year-old and their dam who I showed when I was younger. Then I have an adorable pony who keeps them all company and goes trail riding with me when she's is not babysitting. And play time for those that need it. $30 per dog per night Barn sitting- water, hay and grain. Cleaning stalls and required barn areas, turn-out, necessary grooming.
