I am a self-proclaimed animal lover. I've owned dogs for over 13 years and I've been a cat owner for 3 years. I volunteer with the Animal Rescue League and Aheinz57 dog rescue. I've also taken some informal dog training classes. Animals have a big spot in my heart and they deserve love, patience, understanding, and lots of affection (if they like it!)! Each furry friend has their own personalities and preferences and I always respect that in them. I have owned pugs and also currently have a black lab who lives with us who is a trained police dog. I have experience with puppies and senior dogs both large and small. Our late pug, Daisy, had Diabetes so I know how to administer insulin injections.
